Two new disc mowers broaden the Rozmital range

Strojírny Rožmitál, s.r.o. introduced two new disc mowers. Specifically, the SD-24L lightweight side-mounted mower and the SC-301R front-mounted mower equipped with a roller conditioner.

"With the new mowers we are responding to farmers and customers who have been asking for these machines. The lightweight SD-24L model offers a larger working width compared to last year's SD-20L model, while the SC-301R front-mounted mower with roller conditioner will be appreciated by farmers working with alfalfa and clover, for example," says Pavel Jahoda, sales director of Strojírny Rožmitál, s.r.o..

SD-24L

Following the successful launch of the SD-20L last year, this is the second machine of the lightweight design with side mountings and spring suspension in the Rozmital range. The SD-24L has a working width of 2,38 m and is equipped with 6 discs, each with two quick-release blades.

The mowing bar is made of high-quality and durable materials. The hydraulic elements of the mower are integrated into the frame of the machine's frame and the novelty is equipped with skids made of high-quality steel. The stubble height ranges from 40 to 70 mm.

With an area performance of 2,3 hectares per hour, the machine is particularly suitable for small areas, e.g. in the submontane areas. Thanks to its light weight, the mower can be aggregated with tractors with power levels as low as 60 HP, a benefit particularly appreciated by private farmers.

SC-301R

The second new product introduced is the SC-301R front mounted mower with roller conditioner. The working width of the machine is 3,01 m and the mower bar is made up of 7 discs, each with two blades.

Thanks to the double-sided mounting, the cutter bar and the frame are a firm unit. The bar is suspended by coil springs. The machine is equipped with an overload-protecting friction clutch on the cardan. The skids are made of highly durable material. The stubble height varies from 40 to 80 mm.

The machine is equipped with a roller conditioner, where the operator has the option of disabling it if necessary. The SC-301R is particularly suitable for alfalfa, clover, etc.

The robust and durable machine is characterised by excellent cut quality and good terrain following, including lateral positioning. The new machine is expected to be of particular interest in the southern European countries, where demand for mowers with roller conditioners is high.

Both new products will be offered by Strojírny Rožmitál, s.r.o. from 1 October 2022. Production and delivery of the first machines to customers is planned for spring next year.
