Strojírny Rožmitál Strojírny Rožmitál is a machinery plant with a long tradition of manufacture, which reaches up to the beginning of the past century. The company was founded in 1913, then metal parts of furniture, air-conditioning equipment and electromotors were produced here.

The manufacture of the agricultural technology in Strojírny Rožmitál began in 1946 and lasted until the present time. At present, haymakers and swatch turners are produced here. The machine works have departments of development, design, technology and the actual toolshed for the production of preparations.

The current production is divided into several areas:
  • Production of Agricultural equipment, haymakers up to the maximum reach of 8.9m, rakes up to the max. reach of 13.3 m
  • Production of semi-finished products for the final assembly in RAVAK Příbram
  • Cooperation for the foreign companies (Germany, Netherlands) – machining, welding
  • Cooperation for the local companies – machining, welding

Main Production Technologies

Division

  • Plasma burning up to 15 mm – maximum dimension 1,500 x 3,000 mm
  • Cutting on band saws up to the diameter of 300 mm
  • Sheet metal cutting up to the thickness of 10 mm in the maximum length of 2,000 mm
  • Cutting press for flat steel with the power of 63 tons

Stamping

  • A total of 12 presses with the pressing power from 40 to 400 tons. Possibility to press in heat.

Locksmith´s Works

  • Centering of profiles – up to the size of the cross-section of 50x50 mm
  • Centering of sheet metals up to thickness of 6 mm - machine FAL 206 - in the length of 2,000 mm
  • Pipe bending to maximum size of 108 x 4 mm on XOT 110
  • Folding on folding brake PPM-36-200, maximum thrust of 200 tons, maximum length of 3,500 mm

Welding

  • Size of the weldments up to the length of 10 m, lifting capacity of cranes – 3.5 tons
  • Welding in CO2, MAG method
  • TIG (WIG) welding
  • Flame welding
  • Resistance welding on welding presses, on L160.14 machines, maximum current of 52,000 A
Welding Expedition

Machining

  • Drilling up to the full diameter of 60 mm
  • Turning work on classic machines up to the diameter of 600 mm and the length of 2,000 mm
  • Milling on classic milling machines, maximum size of the table 450 x 2,000 mm
  • Machining on horizontal machines up to the spindle diameter of 90 mm, table area of 1,000 x 1,120 mm, maximum weight of the workpiece 3,000 kg
  • Broaching on horizontal broaching machine
  • Drilling of shafts on FZWD machine 160x900 up to the maximum diameter of 160 mm and the length of 900 mm

Gearing

  • Machining of cone gears with involute direct gearing – on ZFTK machine, maximum wheel diameter of 500 mm
  • Machining of front involute gearing – direct and oblique on FO 6 machine, maximum diameter of 600 mm, length of 600 mm

CNC Machines

  • Machining on CNC lathes SPT 16 CNC, maximum machined flange 220 mm, maximum turn length of 500 mm
  • Machining on CNC lathe SMARTURN with automatic material feeding, max. bar diameter of 40 mm, flange of 160 mm, between tips 350 mm
  • Machining on CNC vertical machining center MCV 1000, MCV 1270, automatic replacement of tools, cone in spindle ISO 40, table dimension 1,500 x 670 mm, spindle travel 1,200/610/720 mm (x/y/z)
  • Machining on a horizontal NC machining center MCFH 32, table size 400x400 mm

Grinding

  • Round grinding of external and internal areas in the chuck or between tips on a universal grinding machine BHU 32, max. diameter of 400 mm, length of 1,500 mm
  • Round grinding on a centerless grinder BB6-centrles, up to the diameter of 70 mm
  • Flat grinding on a grinder up to the size of 300 x 1,500 mm

Surface blasting

  • steel – consecutive-fee table blaster, broken steel is used for blasting
  • aluminium – hanging, consecutive-fee blaster with a groove, blasting with rustless broken steel

Painting

  • Wet polishing using high-quality polyurethane paints, part lengths of up to 10.0 m and weight 3,000 kg

Special technology

  • Grinding and polishing of metal surfaces under decorative chromium
